Personal Password Vault
The Personal Password Vault is a private storage area where Keycyte PAM users can securely store and manage their personal password records. Through this feature, users can centrally manage their personal accounts as well as corporate systems within the PAM system.
Personal Password Vault Features
The personal password vault offers user-focused password management while maintaining enterprise-level security standards. This section is completely under user control and system administrators do not have access. All data is protected with end-to-end encryption and stored encrypted with AES-256 using the user's master password.
Independent Password Management
Users can create, edit, and delete their own private accounts in this area. The system protects password information entered by users with secure vault technology. This way, both personal and work-related accounts can be managed from a single central location.
Secure Password Generation
The personal password vault can create strong and unique passwords with an integrated password generator module. Users can customize password complexity level, length, and character set to create passwords that meet security requirements. The system automatically analyzes password strength and provides security recommendations.
Supported Account Types
Web Accounts
Account information for social media platforms, e-commerce sites, cloud services, and other web-based applications can be stored. The system can automatically log into these sites through web browser integration and securely fill in password information.
Application Accounts
Credentials for desktop applications, mobile applications, and other software solutions can be managed. API keys, token information, and other authentication data can also be stored securely.
Network and System Accounts
Credentials for personal network devices, home lab systems, VPN connections, and other technical accounts can be stored. SSH keys, certificate information, and other cryptographic data can also be managed within this scope.
Advanced Security Features
Zero-Knowledge Architecture
The personal password vault is designed with zero-knowledge architecture. This way, no third party, including system administrators, can access user password information. All encryption and decryption operations are performed on the user's client-side.
Multi-Factor Authentication
MFA can be mandated as an additional security layer for access to the personal password vault. Unauthorized access is prevented with TOTP, SMS, or email-based second-factor authentication.
Audit and Monitoring
All activities in the personal password vault are logged in detail. Password accesses, changes, and export operations are recorded with date/time stamps.
User Experience and Integration
The personal password vault provides seamless integration with Keycyte PAM's general user interface. A consistent password management experience is offered across all platforms with browser extensions, mobile applications, and desktop clients. User productivity is maximized with auto-save and intelligent form detection features.
