Keycyte PAM 3.2 · Deployment Guide
Architecture
A Keycyte PAM deployment is a set of Docker containers on one Linux host, started and managed with Docker Compose. The PAM server is the central component: it serves the web interfaces, stores the configuration in PostgreSQL, applies roles and policies, and controls every privileged session. The other components handle specific protocols or tasks and talk to the PAM server over an internal Docker network.
Users never receive the passwords of target accounts. They connect to Keycyte PAM, and Keycyte PAM opens the connection to the target system with the credential stored in the Password Vault.
