Activating the Licence
A valid license is required. To activate it, you send the Secret Key of your system to Keycyte, receive a licence key for that system, and enter the licence key in the Admin Panel.

Before You Begin
- You are signed in to the Admin Panel with the MASTER role.
- The system is in its final form (host, number of CPUs, PAM server container). See How the Licence Is Bound to the System.
Getting the Secret Key
To get the secret key of the system:

In the Admin Panel, open Settings > License.

Click Secret Key.
The Secret Key dialog shows the key of this system.

Copy the key, and click Close.

Send the key to Keycyte together with your order details.
You receive a licence key that is generated for this system.
Entering the Licence Key
To enter the licence key:
- Open Settings > License.
- Click Add.
- In the Add Licence dialog, paste the licence key into Licence Key.
- Click Save.
The licence appears in the list with its Company Name, Create Date, Total User and Version.
If the key cannot be saved, the Admin Panel shows an Error message and the licence list does not change. The most common causes are:
- The key is incomplete or was changed while copying. Copy the whole key again.
- The key was generated for a different secret key, for example before the system was changed. Send the current secret key to Keycyte.
Replacing or Removing the Licence
Keycyte PAM holds one licence at a time. When you save a new licence key, it replaces the current one.
- To replace the licence, click the edit icon in the Action column, paste the new key, and click Save. You can also click Add and save the new key.
- To remove the licence, click the delete icon in the Action column and confirm.
