Keycyte PAM 3.2 · Administrator Guide
Sessions
The Sessions menu of the Admin Panel collects everything Keycyte PAM knows about connections that users open to servers through the platform. Use it to watch sessions while they run, to replay sessions after they end, and to search the commands and file transfers that took place in them.
The menu contains the following pages:
| Page | What you do there |
|---|---|
| Active Sessions | See the sessions that are open now, watch a session live, send a message to users, and terminate sessions. See Monitoring Active Sessions. |
| Session History | Search finished sessions, play recordings, read the key log, and download recordings. See Reviewing Session History. |
| Command History | Search the commands that users ran in terminal sessions. See Reviewing Command and File History. |
| File History | Search the files that users uploaded or downloaded in terminal sessions. See Reviewing Command and File History. |
What is recorded for a session is decided by the server roles that cover the server: for example, the Session Record and Text Record features of a server role. For details, see Server Roles.
Note
ADMIN users see these pages only if one of their permission profiles grants the View permission for the module. An ADMIN sees only the sessions on servers, accounts and users that the ADMIN administers. MASTER users are not restricted. For details, see Permission Profiles.
